An article in the local paper today said that in Fresno, California
lawyers for a woman who was spanked in front of her coworkers as part
of what her employer said was a comaraderic building exercise asked a
jury for at least 1 million for the humilation she suffered.
Janet Orlando 53 quit her job at Alarm One Inc. and sued claiming
discrimination,assult,battery and emotional distress.
Employees were paddaled with rival companys yard signs as part of a
contest that pitted sales teams against each other.
The winners swatted the losers buttocks.

Hi Ed

This story has received a lot of coverage in the press and TV here in
Sydney. On tonight's 6 o'clock news, the female newsreader had a
definite glint in her eye - and the way she pronounced "spanking" was
quite interesting. She seemed to separate the word from the rest of the
sentence and let it hang in the air. She then described how the woman
was "whacked on her backside".
